Fabric and Sewing Event

FABRIC AND SEWING EVENT 2018

This event takes over from the very popular “Sewing Bee” the we have had over the last three years.

There will be fabrics and threads, buttons and beads, ribbons and lace, to add to your stash, and various sewing kits including embroidery and cross stitch, as well as wonderful sewing based goodies for sale from various local crafters.

During the 2 weeks we will have a couple of workshops, details to follow, and the opportunity to help make items for Stuart House to, either use for cafe/costume or sell for funds. Anyone is welcome to come if they have a spare bit of time to help out, things like cutting down, and edging bath towels to make 4-5 smaller towels for the kitchen, adding lace to squares of cotton/linen to make handkerchiefs to sell in the shop amongst other things.
