SEALED KNOT CIVIL WAR RE-ENACTMENT GROUP On Saturday 30th September we have the Sealed Knot Civil War re-enactment group in the House and Garden with us, helping celebrate the St. Mathews Fair Day vents that go on in town. It is always a pleasure to host this lively interactive group of historical enthusiasts. There will be Pike and Musket drills along with cookery displays, the group are always happy to interact and ask any questions that relate to this period.
It is a great privilege to have this living history group giving an authentic feel to th building, and indeed the House seems to come alive during these occasions.
